looking for safe toddler built in bathing suit vest, any suggestions?

that fits safe, in case she falls in.
our backyard is our pool!

I am sure you can find them many places, just check to see if they are approved by the coast guard.

I have worked in aquatics for years, and I will just tell you that if you get a life jacket that fits appropriately, they are very appropriate. If you are worried that you child would remove the vest or refuse to wear it, that is one thing, but I like the life jacket because it gives you the option to take it off when you are closely supervising them so that you can teach them to swim without the floatation device so that they can learn to swim themselves eventually. Sometimes they make the suits so that the floatation devices can be taken out of the suit.

If you do go with the built-in option, make sure you try to find one that has support along the back and the chest – not just around the waist. And always be watching because kids can turn upside down while wearing any kind of floatation device and get stuck – meaning they cannot turn back around and get their head above water.
