ok so i wanna make a queen size no sew tie fleece blanket for christmas for my boyfriend?

how much fabric would i need to make it fit, he’s also around 6 feet tall

Have you slept under one of those? I had the misfortune to be loaned one as a lap warmer at a friend’s house. If you get a knot under you, it’s pretty lumpy and uncomfortable.

As to fabric size, I’d suggest starting with two king size fleece blankets — otherwise you’re going to need to seam together lengths of fleece to get something wide enough (fleece typically comes
58-60″ wide).

Standard king size blanket: 108-110″ x 90-96″
Standard queen size blanket: 86-90 x 90-94.

As you can see, even with starting with a king size blanket, there’s not much room to cut fringes to tie.
