Help–need instructions to wash & set Hand Print Tee-shirt?

I bought a t-shirt from Kmart for Fathers Day (weeks ago) and lost the instructions–Hand-y Tee’s “best dad….hands down” and you put your child’s hands in paint and press them onto the T-shirt–did that part already, now how do I set them? iron? and then wash or hand wash? then dry?? thank you!

Most people that I read about just let theirs air dry but this is what one lady said. But make sure it is dry good before you do this. I am wondering if a hair dryer would not work too. Applying heat over the painted area will set the paint into the garment. You can do this by either pressing the garment using a pressing cloth (iron until the paint gets warm) or putting in a hot dryer for about 5 to 10 minutes or until the item gets warm. Doing this will prevent the paint from peeling off, it actually bonds to the fabric. Good Luck.
