Are you frustrated that your muscle routine is not giving your body muscle gains like it used to? It might because it is no longer optimized for your body. It should be changed for the person using it frequently, otherwise you could be wasting your time and energy. Here are some changes you can do to it to make it better.

Muscle Routine Change #1: More weight, more intensity

This is pretty standard practice. By adding more weight, you are forcing your muscle to oppose the force and pain that comes with it by growing. Of course you can add more weight and work out slowly, which will do nothing for your muscles. This is why more intensity will also help you gain lean muscle. Doing your routine in a continuous circuit giving yourself little time to rest will help you reach muscle overload quicker, meaning you can then spend time resting and growing muscle.

Muscle Routine Change #2: Better diet.

We all know this refers to protein. High protein foods are the basis for a muscle routine. It’s like the bricks of the house. If you have have no bricks, how can you build a house? Of course, there is a wrong and right way of doing it. The wrong way would be to inject yourself with steroids and endanger your health. It’s more about introducing it into your diet gradually.

Muscle Routine Change #3: Rest!

Believe it or not, this is the most important aspect of a good muscle routine. Your muscle can only grow when you are sleeping. This is when your muscles are stabilized and have time to metabolize all the protein they’ve been given to start building up your muscles. Many men prefer to work out at night, when they’re supposed to be sleeping. They are basically sabotaging themselves and their potential to grow more muscle. Leave working out for a time when you’re not meant to be resting and you’ll grow more lean muscle.

Should men get regular health checkups?

Do men go for regular health checkups or should they like most women do?

I don’t know if all men do, but they definitely should. Have a routine check up is important for everyone women, men, and children of all ages. Blood work can show a lot of things, getting your blood pressure checked is also always a good thing. If you’re meaning since women go to the GYN should a man do something like that… well generally a regular MD will check the man, and if anything is suspected he will be sent to a specialist.
