What’s the difference between art nouveau and art deco?

Art Nouveau is a style from 1880-1916 with floral and curvy lines.Beardsley is an example.
Art Deco came later (1920-1939) and is geometric, and more “modern” looking, severe, etc. Lots of architecture, like the Chrysler building, and the Golden Gate Bridge are examples.
